The problem with mixing diesels and going 200mph: diesels like low revs, and torque. Lots of torque. The kind of torque that disrespects drivetrain components. And low revs mean you need some loooong gears to get up to that 200mph range on a stock ratio 4L80e. So how do we kill two birds with one stone? A BIG ‘ol rear end from winters, with a 2.0 final drive.
